she arrived!

Well, our princess finally arrived on june 8th, 2010. She arrived by c/section at 3:11pm, and is absolutely gorgeous. She was 3.395 kgs, she is blonde, blue eyed and so sweet. Her brothers love her, and want to hold her all the time! She sleeps really weel, and has grown so much already. She was 4.14kg at 5 weeks old. She is now almost 7 weeks and i can see her cheeks growing day by day so goodness knows how much she weighs now.

She is sleeping well so far, waking only once a night. I am quite happy with that at the moment, although i am still tired.

We have our 6 week check up at the obstetrician next friday, and hopefully all is well with both of us!

8 days to go and she finally turns.

Well well well..... miracles happen. Princess has finally turned. There is 8 days to go and she has done it! I was fairly doubtful she would, but she surprised both myself and the obstetrician! We are still on the go-ahead for the section if she waits that long, but if not, its another normal delivery for me with tubes being done at a later date! Still feeling very uncomfortable, lots of reflux, but it has been 7 days since my last vomit, which is a BIG positive! Had Lunch with Chris in the park today, which was nice.... subway is always good, and i am not sure when the next time is that we will have time to go out together without any kids, i am sure next time, princess will be with us!

14 days to go!

Well, We have 14 days to go until our little miss miracle makes her entrance into the world. We are anxiously awaiting her arrival, for a few different reasons... me? I am sick of being sick and also sick of the reflux. I think Chris is waiting because he wants more of his bed back since i take up so much now with all the pillows etc to try to make myself comfortable!

On a different note, this thursday is the last craft session beofe missy arrives and probably until mid-july. I have decided on a challenge, and have amde it fairly easy, just a 3 colour challenge in as much or as little as you like. I have put mine on here, the colours were brown, yellow and red. I have used red, but sparingly, so at least it is in there.

Cant wait to see what everyone else does on thursday.

Not long to go now....

Well, there is not long to go now until our family expands again by one more. A little princess will be born into our family before we know it. She is due on june 16th, but i am sure she will not be waiting until then. My sister is also due around the same time with a little boy. It is strange to have someone else in the family pregnant at the same time as me, because previously all of us have done it alone. I am 31 weeks, and see Dr Hehir tomorrow. Hopefully he will have some cures for the swelling in places it isnt supposed to be just yet, and also let me know if princess is still breech. I feel that she is.
Work is still going along not too badly, only 5 more weeks of that to go. Chris headed to sydney last week for work, and next week is due to go to melbourne for 3 days too. I really dont like him leaving, but if the due date was any closer than 35 weeks, I would make a stand and not allow him to go. I guess we will see how we go. Hopefully this will be the last trip away until the end of june when he has to go to sydney again for work for a few days. Lucky man, he will be glad to get away from a whinging wife and three children then.

Boys.

My boys are growing up so fast, Zak has begun school this year in year one, and is having a great time, although he does tell me that he would like to be on holidays for ever..... (wouldnt we all!)
Angus has managed to be dry for the last 2 weeks, day and night, although today he was busy riding his bike, and tried to pee INTO the wind...... guess you could say that he kinda got wet.....
Chris has been busy preparing for our holiday down the coast, so is busily trying to cram 5 days work into 2 this week...... might not be too easy.
I have been enjoying my first week of holidays, although by this time next week, I am sure I will not be too relaxed as I will be about to go back to work.
Thats about it from me. I am enjoying my time off and had a great time at the PM's XI on thursday with dad..... lots of lovely west indies men to watch all day.....

Big News

Well, where do i start?
I am not sure how many of you actually read this, but i guess I am about to find out! I have recently become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and am looking forward to the challenge. On another, slightly more personal note, we have discovered we are expecting again in june. To describe it as a shock is probably an understatement. But, Never the less, we are getting ready to have a baby in the house once more.
Zak started school in year 1 today, and i am not sure how he feels about it. He seemed a bit out of sorts, with most of his friends being in the other classes, but never the less he will survive I am sure!
Angus seems to have toilet trained himself day and night, which is fantastic, so I am very happy about that!
My boys are growing up too fast, but i guess that they need to now they will both be big brothers. Theya re so excited about the new addition, Zak more so than angus, but anyway.

Its been a while! Again!

Well, Christmas is over and I cant believe it is already 2010. We had a lot of issues with our modem and internet connection in the last month of 2009, and so have bought another one and all is well now. Zak has turned 6, Angus is toilet training, and doing splendidly, and I am but a week away from 2 weeks of holidays. I am quite excited. There is alot of stuff happening right now, but more on that later. Zak and Angus loved Christmas and were thoroughly spoiled.... Zak has enjoyed his school holidays ("i get 6 weeks off mum!") and I for one cant wait for february to arrive. Zak goes back to school, and I get to go to the PM's XI too!!!!! oh, and it is my birthdya and angus's birthday to boot! what a month we have coming up!
Have to go and get stuff for Angus to do this arvo now he is not having day time sleeps, couldnt cope with the 10:30pm bed time.
